St. Charles, Il. – The Sidwell Company, a St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems (GIS) solutions, aerial photography, and related mapping services, is pleased to announce the scheduling of three sessions of ESRI’s “Introduction to ArcGIS I” training: February 27-28, April 3-4, and May 15-16, 2007.
This two-day courses, which will be taught by Sidwell’s ESRI Authorized Instructor and held at Sidwell’s corporate office in St. Charles, Illinois, is intended for those new to the world of GIS and ArcGIS in particular. ArcGIS is ESRI’s full-featured GIS software for visualization, creation, management, and analysis of geographic data. This course provides the foundation for those who wish to become a proficient user of ArcGIS. Fundamental GIS concepts are covered, and students become familiar with the wide range of functionality available in ArcGIS. Exercises focus on work with ArcGIS Desktop and its position as a complete GIS software solution.
