St. Charles, IL - The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, is pleased to announce that Van O’Brien has been named the company’s Business Development Manager. In this role, he will be leading Sidwell’s proposal and contract responses to sales opportunities. Van will also be helping the company shape their message in the marketplace while also ensuring that all product and service offerings are well positioned to support that message.
Van has served as a GIS Project Manager for Sidwell since joining the company in 2000. In that role, he acted as the liaison between the customer and Sidwell during every stage of their GIS project, from production to on-site implementation and training. He has also spent significant time providing product demonstrations, software installations, educational training sessions, and technical customer support.
