St. Charles, IL - The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, has signed an agreement with Calhoun County, Iowa to image capture their existing hardcopy drainage maps for georeferencing to the GIS parcel base and digital orthophotography. Sidwell will digitize the data from each drainage map and edge-match the drainage district boundaries. The resulting, complete geodatabase will also be topologically structured for future GIS analysis.
