St. Charles, IL - The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, will secure countywide aerial photography for Tama County, Iowa in order to develop digital orthophotos for supporting the County’s GIS project. After collecting data to aid in the conversion of their original cadastral tax maps into an ESRI ArcGIS® 9.2 personal Geodatabase and the widely implemented tagged data model, Sidwell will also integrate the new GIS with Tama County’s tax and appraisal systems. Sidwell’s industry-acclaimed Parcel Builder™ suite of software, for parcel maintenance and map editing, and its Farmland Assessment and Report Management System™ software—along with the necessary training and support for each of these implementations—are part of this two-year-plus project.
