St. Charles, IL —The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, has signed an agreement with Charlotte County, Florida. In the initial phase of this project, Sidwell will work with the County to establish a new Geodatabase design by restructuring their existing Geodatabase to optimize it for cadastral editing. Sidwell is also responsible for creating a new, uniform permanent parcel numbering system for all real estate parcels countywide, which total approximately 220,000. Additionally, Charlotte County has selected Sidwell’s industry-acclaimed Parcel Builder™ software as their map maintenance solution of choice; Sidwell will install and provide training to County staff on this ArcGIS®-compliant mapping productivity toolkit and on cadastral map maintenance. Finally, Sidwell will also provide implementation services for ESRI’s ArcGIS® Server and training on administrative issues related to ArcGIS® Server.
