St. Charles, IL —The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, has been selected by the Williamson Central Appraisal District (WCAD) to provide professional GIS services to convert approximately 155,000 parcels in this Texas jurisdiction. Sidwell will convert the WCAD’s parcels from a MicroStation DGN format into the ESRI Geodatabase format, in addition to implementing their industry-acclaimed, ArcGIS®-compliant Parcel Builder™ software as a map maintenance solution. Additional services to be provided include technical consulting on ESRI’s ArcGIS Server, software training, and integration with the WCAD’s CAMA software. Sidwell will also design two GIS websites: the first, a public-access site featuring the WCAD map data, tabular data, and orthophoto data, and the second, an internal site that includes parcel-level connectivity to WCAD’s CAMA application for the purposes of extending its inquiry capabilities.
