St. Charles, IL —The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, has signed an agreement with Tippecanoe County, Indiana to convert their cadastral data, including 67,000 parcels, from Bentley Systems MicroStation DGN format into the ESRI Geodatabase format. This conversion project brings the number of Geodatabase countywide conversions performed by Sidwell to more than 90. Sidwell’s staff will assist the County in developing a new Geodatabase-centric approach that will simplify this jurisdiction’s land records management process. As Tippecanoe County has selected Sidwell’s Parcel Builder™ as their map maintenance solution, the company will also provide training on this ArcGIS® software extension and on cadastral map editing, along with providing short-term map maintenance support. In addition, Sidwell will support the implementation of ArcGIS® Server at the County through technical consulting services.
