St. Charles, IL – The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, is pleased to announce that Brent Mainzinger, their Vice President of Business Development, will present at the 2008 GIS/CAMA Technologies Conference in New Orleans on February 27.
In addition to a joint presentation with Manatron on “Integrating GIS Across the Enterprise with Spatial Intelligence”, Mainzinger will also be delivering the presentation “Parcel Genealogy: How To Trace A Parcel’s Family Tree”. This presentation will focus on the role of the parcel number in land records management; the challenges inherent in tracing a parcel number’s history; how this tracking can be effectively and efficiently managed in the cadastral map maintenance process and tied to related documents, images, videos, and web pages; and how timely integration with tax and CAMA workflows can be accomplished.
