St. Charles, IL – The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, is pleased to announce that Arron Lee, Manager of Photogrammetry Production, has been awarded the designation of Certified Photogrammetrist (CP) by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). The CP designation is awarded to those individuals who can:
- Demonstrate the required level of experience and professional knowledge of photogrammetry
- Provide the necessary references to satisfy the ASPRS Evaluation Committee’s requirements
- Declare their compliance with the ASPRS Code of Ethics
- Complete the four-hour written examination successfully
Arron has served in Sidwell’s Photogrammetry Division since joining the company in 1999. In his current managerial capacity, he is responsible for overseeing aspects of topographic and planimetric map production. He also handles all editing and quality control functions, sets production requirements, trains new employees, manages project estimates, and assists in setting project budgets.
