St. Charles, IL – The Sidwell Company has been selected to provide GIS professional services to Hardin County Appraisal District, TX. Specifically, Sidwell will be developing a GIS website and performing tasks to improve the accuracy and consistency of the Appraisal District’s parcel number inventory. Sidwell was chosen previously by Hardin CAD to migrate the County’s existing GIS data to the industry standard data format, the ESRI® Geodatabase.
Sidwell will develop a GIS website which will add increased value to the county’s current website. The new Sidwell-developed site will allow the county to query properties to return attribute reports and map displays, as well as real property information such as taxable value for each parcel and property history. The website will also provide a mechanism for processing name changes.
