St. Charles, IL – The Sidwell Company, the premier provider of GIS and land records management solutions for local government, is announcing a reorganization of its senior management team. Major areas of the company are now consolidated under three newly created vice-president positions. These changes were made to better position the company to manage its growing geographic reach, increasingly diverse suite of products and services, and expanding technological offerings.
Brent Mainzinger has been appointed Vice President – Chief Technology Officer. In this capacity, Brent will not only provide technological vision and leadership for the entire organization and with respect to implementation of Sidwell technology at client sites, but he will also remain very involved in critical business relationships and visible in marketplace activities. He will continue to function as a leader in developing Sidwell’s understanding of market, technology and industry trends, and in shaping company strategy for responding to those trends. According to President and CEO Neal Carpenter, “This move acknowledges that we are a technology company and that Brent is a technology leader at Sidwell as well as in the industry.”
Kevin Daugherty has been appointed Vice President – Sales and Marketing. In this role, Kevin will be responsible for managing and overseeing all sales and marketing activities of The Sidwell Company. Carpenter stated, “Since joining Sidwell, Kevin has demonstrated a deep understanding of the marketplace, drawing upon an extensive network of solid relationships with leaders in the industries that we serve. He has earned the trust and confidence of senior management, forged positive relationships with staff members, and contributed to important initiatives at Sidwell in addition to vital marketplace activities.” Prior to joining Sidwell, Kevin worked for ESRI® for 21 years, most recently as their Cadastral / Land Records Industry Manager.
Don Mangus, previously Sidwell’s Director of Photogrammetry, has been appointed Vice President – Photogrammetry, responsible for managing the company’s entire Photogrammetry Department, including the internal production department and flight operations. “Naming Don to this position underscores the importance of this department to Sidwell’s operations and recognizes his outstanding contribution to the leadership and direction of the Photogrammetry Department and of the entire company,” commented Carpenter.
Carpenter concluded, “Brent, Kevin and Don are accomplished and well-respected individuals in the marketplace who consistently demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, vision, and understanding of industry trends. The interests of Sidwell’s valued clients and employee-owners will be well served by the competent leadership of these people-both individually and collectively.”
