St. Charles, IL – The Sidwell Company, an employee-owned, St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems, aerial photography, photogrammetric and mapping services, is pleased to announce the promotion of Brett Black to the position of GPS Solutions Manager. This move is in conjunction with the company’s establishment of a new “GPS Solutions” product line, which includes GPS equipment, associated accessories and training, and support services that will enhance Sidwell’s ability to provide practical project-specific GPS solutions to its clients.
As a Photogrammetric Account Manager since joining Sidwell in 2005, Brett was instrumental in initiating the company’s venture into the GPS equipment reseller market. In his new managerial capacity, he will be responsible for further expansion of the GPS Solutions product line by growing Sidwell’s GPS equipment reseller network and increasing the company’s sales of Magellan GPS products and services. “Brett Black has been the driving force in our GPS sales success. Each year for the past three years, he has continued to expand our sales, our markets and our offerings.
